Buy Your First Home in 8 Steps: Step 2
Buy Your First Home in 8 Steps
A Guide for First-Time Homebuyers
Buying a home is the biggest investment you will make in your life. It can be stressful, overwhelming, emotional and exhausting. I believe with the right tools and education, you will feel confident and empowered to pursue your Real Estate dreams.
There are so many moving parts in a real estate transaction your Realtor® should be able to confidently, explain every detail of the contract; the contingencies, addendums, timelines, etc. to you, the buyer.
You will spend a lot of time with your Realtor®. I suggest finding someone who you'd like to spend time with and who you can trust.
A Realtor® is a special designation and is a member of the National Association of Realtors®. As Realtor's® we have a fiduciary responsibility to put your best interest first. Realtors are held to a higher standard and a code of ethics within the Real Estate Community.
A Local Expert
Find an agent who is familiar with the community and can help guide you to the areas that fit your needs, like a particular school or district.
Realtors® know what “Red Flags” to look for when searching for homes the average person would overlook.
Buying a home can be an exciting time; but it can also be intimidating. Knowing the steps and who to work with can make that process easier, especially if you are a first-time homebuyer.
Buyer's who are well prepared and organized, no matter the type of market, are in a better position to get the home of their dreams.
My goal is to help educate you on the process of buying a home from beginning to end, so you don't have to “wing it”.
